Our History

River Brink has its history as a dairy farm, securing its name with the purchase of purebred cattle in the 1970s. Eventually, we moved away from the dairy scene and onto raising beef steers instead. In the late 90s to early 2000s, the horse barn was founded, establishing the two farms under the River Brink name---River Brink Farm where we raise the market beef cattle, and River Brink Stables where we board horses. Along with the Farm and the Stables, we have hundreds of acreage where we grow hay, corn, and grains.
Meet Our Family
Tom
Dwayne "Tom" Johnson is the owner of the farms, and the father of Pat and Sam. He raised ten children, Pat and Sam being his youngest two. He doesn't farm as much as he used to, but he can still be seen combining or raking hay when he can. He lives with his partner, Jo, next to the stables.

Pat
Patrick manages the horse stables, crop farms with his brother, and helps out around the farm. He, his wife Kris, and their daughters live on the River Brink Stables property.
Sam
Samuel manages the steer farm. He crop farms with Pat, and helps around the farm. Sam, his wife Heather, and his daughters live on the farm where the cattle are raised.

Mitch
Mitchell is the eldest son of Kris and Pat. He works around each of the farms, helping out where needed. He, his wife Megan, and their two young daughters live in Hammond.
Lynnea
Lynnea is the youngest daughter of Kris and Pat. After school she can be seen riding one of her horses or helping with horse chores in the evening.
